Day 9 - Tuesday 12th January 2010
I have been getting lots of emails from New You dieters who are also on the first week, the weight loss results are all amazing!!! It is very motivating to get such a good weight loss in the first week, as it gives you the inspiration to keep going. Weight loss results from other New You dieters are ranging from 7 pounds to 10 p and everyone is keen for week 2! It does get easier in week 2 as ketosis is well settled into and the desire for food and hunger subsides dramatically.
Many people don't always eat because of hunger, emotion does play a big role in many people over eating, so it does take a few weeks before your brain actually realises there is no point thinking of food to conquer boredom or stress! They do say it takes 21 days to break a habit, so this is a good habit to break!
I have really noticed a big difference in my hunger levels over the last couple of days. In work yesterday and today I had my morning coffee and ate half a wafer and I did not even do this consiously, I just never thought to eat the second wafer! Last week I ate both wafers in the pack and to be honest I could of had another pack lol. But today I didnt even think to eat the full pack!! Thats a great sign and encourages me even more than I will get to my goal BMI of 22 for March!!
My Menu Plan for today was...
Breakfast: Black Coffee and Half a Mocha Wafer
Lunch: Black Coffee and Half a Mocha Wafer
Tea: Irish Stew Meal
Supper: Hot Chocolate & Half a Choc Bar
Water intake hasn't been great today, so I really need to make a big effort to set and keep to my mini water goals.
1 litre before lunch
1 litre before tea time
1 litre before bed time
